Increase the minimum supported Perl version to 5.8. Fix warning when outputing without a PerlIO layer. Fix behavior of S<> in Pod::Text with Unicode input. Remove an ancient workaround for Solaris in Pod::Text::Termcap that sets TERMPATH. Remove the fallback to ECMA-048 escape sequences in Pod::Text::Termcap. Further improve the test suite.

Add support for Python 3. Modernize the Python code and deprecate passing in commands as anything other than an iterable of str or bytes. Add -t flag to the remctl client to specify a network timeout. Fix NULL pointer dereference after memory allocation failure in the client library. Add GCC attributes to the declarations of libremctl client functions. Fix various issues with the build system.

Add the winner of the 2019 Mythopoeic Award for best adult novel (Spinning Silver, by Naomi Novik).
Test::RRA must now be included before Test::More and handles a missing Test::More. is_file_contents in Test::RRA now handles a missing diff program. Fix RRA_LIB_KRB5_OPTIONAL probing when libkrb5 is not available but libcom_err is. Fine-tune the files checked by t/style/strict.t. Include Build.PL files in SPDX license checks. Check for legacy "see LICENSE" statements in the SPDX license check even in short files. Ignore Changes when checking Perl files for obsolete strings. Build and test the Perl tests as part of the rra-c-util build.
Add new bcalloc_type and breallocarray_type macros to the TAP library that take a type instead of a size as their third argument and cast the return value. The code can now be compiled natively with a C++ compiler.

Refactor command handling to make it more extensible and to improve module structure. Add a new docknot dist command to generate a distribution tarball. Support orphaned packages in README and README.md. Add bug tracker links for CPAN RT to the thread output.

Support Python 3 in embedded filtering and authentication hooks. Fix selection of elliptic curves for TLS. New inn.conf configuration parameter to fine-tune cipher suite selection for TLS 1.3. Return the error message from Python and Perl filter hook rejects to CHECK and TAKETHIS commands. Better logging of failed connection requests.
Her last name is Arsenault or Arsenault Rivera, since her name uses the Spanish last name convention.
