A Few Netfic Sites
Given the close relationship between netfic and the Internet, it would be hard for there not to be a few web sites dealing with it.
- The Eyrie
Contains much information about various netfic shared universes and some rather large archives.
- Eyrie Productions, Unlimited
The people responsible for Undocumented Features, and a bunch of other stuff. (Unrelated to the Eyrie, by the way.)
Superguy
- The Superguy Home Page
- The Superguy Archives:
Be forewarned: the archives consist of over a thousand files at this point, so loading the file list can take a some time.
- The Superguy Autocollector by Jon Lennox. It provides a way to access the archives without having to deal with the logs themselves.
- The traffic on the Superguy mailing list is also sent over bit.listserv.superguy. This has the advantages of not requiring a subscription (in the sense of a mailing list) and that the files are stored on the news server, rather than your disk. On the other hand, you can't post there.
- Since the Sfstory subtopic predates the Superguy list, it has its own archives, which contain much that the Superguy archives do not, but are only one-tenth the size. (Sfstory hasn't seen the recent explosion of activity in recent years that Superguy has.)
- The New Review Crew puts out 000REVIEWS, a review of postings to the list.
- Mario Di Giacomo writes the Superguy W.I.RE., another source of reviews.
