Jade appears to be approximately sixteen years old, and bears a striking resemblance to both Raven and Jacob. She is slightly shorter than Raven with a few more curves, along with her 'father's' hair that is such a dark green that it appears black hanging long past her neck, as well as his eyes of a matching color. Her face is strikingly like that of Raven's. She is usually dressed in shiny black pants that fit quite tightly, but oddly appropriate for a 'teenager', with a loose sleeveless shirt of a strange silver metallic cloth.
By all accounts she is the created daughter of Jacob and Raven. By the term 'created', Jade's birth seems much like a Greek myth, with his daughter springing alive and whole as a spunky, sometimes saucy teenager.
Whatever Jacob had in mind when he was creating Jade, he was certainly surprised when he got his 'daughter.' Born in the heart of the Corridor of Mirrors, Jade arrived from the future announcing to her father and mother that she was there to help them create her. Thus being a true child of Paradox. Not born of any womb, rumor has it that Jade is the combination of casting Jacob's reflection into Raven's, and sealed together by a unknown series of Paradox Equations and 'reality algorithms.' The result of this became their 'daughter.'
That's what we're told anyways. Jade is afflicted with a curious situation, outside of the Mirror Realm, she has no body. Like a vampire in reverse, she is only a walking talking image in glass. At least thus far, we do know that for one instant Jade did exist on this side of the looking glass. What happened and why she is unable to leave the Mirror Realm is a mystery, except perhaps to Jacob himself.
How Jade fits in with Nikolas is anyones bet.
"What do you mean you're not my parents!" she wails bursting into tears! "I'm not an orphan!!"

Remember your own teen years, and then remember that Jade grew up instantly. Things don't always make sense to her, but she's strong willed and determined to learn. She believes that "Mommy' and 'Daddy' should live together and love her. That boys should adore her. That wicked people should be punished. And lastly that everyone know who is controlling the Mirror Realm now.
As far as dealing with people, don't expect her to follow Jacob's 'old party line', she demonstrated already that she has a mind and a will of her own. Yet when dealing with other people, Jade is learning, and learning quite fast. Rather than brute force she has learned to get quite far on pouting, smiling, bursting into tears, etc.. All the tricks of a cute pretty sixteen year old girl. The best example of which is when she and Lorelei are confronted by a deranged Jacob within the Mirror Realm. Jacob demands that his daughter take Kireyas (in sword form) from Lorelei, and surrender it to him so that "this monster can be destroyed utterly once and for all!" With a solemn expression Jade turns to Lorelei, "Oh, I think we better do as Daddy says, and I better stay with him.. He's not feeling very good. Here you go Daddy.." And then Jade promptly places a copy of Kireyas in his hands, soothing, mollifying, and completely hoodwinking him, leaving the real Kireyas with Lorelei.
A GM should remember that outside of the Mirror Realm that Jade has no power, she is as helpless a watcher as someone would be staring into her world. The stats above don't impress strongly enough how powerful Jade is within the Mirror Realm. She is faster than any shroudling known, perhaps even faster than her famous father. She seems to have the ability to find almost any Reflection and object that she desires, and certainly has no fear of guisels. How powerful is Jade? Jade and Kireyas stood 'toe to toe' and 'eye to eye' in a battle within the Mirror Realm.
Kireyas lost.
Jade is most suitable as a child. She is too immature to make a decent parent, unless that is what is being sought. As a parent, she is likely to be very similar to how Lorelei was with Meredith.
Jade as a child, is a confused, but caring young person. She knows the circumstances of her birth, and from her perspective can see nothing wrong with it. Yet, Raven almost recoils from her and will not address her as 'her' child. Jade has yet to lash out at Raven, but this is causing a lot of heartache for her. She wants attention, and she wants approval, affirmation that she is a worthwhile person and a daughter that anyone would be proud of. She grew very upset when Jacob tried to explain why Raven was behaving the way she was, and in the end gave in to Jade and pretended that Jade was his 'special' daughter. Why her Father is responding to her, but not her Mother is a confusing and hurtful situation.
As a youth, she can be very dangerous. She has a lot power, but not the years or experience to temper it.
Jade, like Nikolas is yet another wild card. At the moment, precious few are even aware of her existence, especially her 'grandparents' Celia and Madoc, Fiona, as well as her 'Aunt Dierdre.' However, fashioned from the reflections of both her parents Jade has some idea who these people are. Possibly even her mother's one time rival, and her father's current adversary Andelia. Whether she maintains a biased opinion from her parents or not, she is bound to be curious about these people and their role in her new life. She's already met one boy that she's a lot in common with, because he was artificially created too, Urda. She's also developed a 'buddy' relationship with a pretty relation named Lorelei.
She may be looking for all the friends she can get, after all, her 'Mommy' is acting frightened of her, and 'Daddy' has recently lost his marbles.
Or.. maybe not. Let us remember, like Nikolas, Jade arrived from her own future. Maybe Jade knows exactly what she's doing..
