Donnerjack: Panthaion

Each GM may of course design their own pantheons. My personal Panthaion is given below as a model. Each aion has an example of a Greater, Lesser, or Demi-Persona, as well as a brief description of their known personality, domains, and history. Note that at this time, there is no Highest Three; the heights of Meru have not yet been reached.

Greatermost Gods

Death

Death is Lord of the Deep Fields, and all things Virtùelle fear the touch of his moirè. He does not interfere with the activities of the gods on Meru, preferring his seclusion. So long as his domain is unviolated, he will not act against a god. He is unique, and his avatars cannot be quantified like other aions. He remains inscrutable.

Skyga

Skyga embodies the general structure of the Virtù system. His Tenor (i.e., his preferred themes) is the sky and atmospheric phenomena. He has no love of Seaga, but his true enmity is directed towards Sunra and Moonsha, who desire his domains.

Seaga

Seaga embodies the datastream, and prefers manifestations with an oceanic theme. This brings him into conflict with Pragma. He once courted Moonsha but failed to win her heart.

Earthma

Earthma is the aion of aions, the master proge on which all other proges are based. This brings her into conflict with Agrima and Zooga.

Sunra

Sunra is allied with Moonsha, his mirror twin. As the embodiment of the sun and fire, he covets Skyga's realms.

Moonsha

Moonsha sides with Sunra, her brother. She is the embodiment of desire, love that is pure and chaste. She is renowned as a virgin, but that does not make her any weaker in strength or temperament. She has spurned the advances of Seaga, Zooga and Skyga in the past, perhaps inflaming the war between Skyga and Sunra.

Agrima

Agrima and Warga are known lovers, and they cherish their child, Fortuity. Her closest ally is Zooga, and some suspect that Agrima and Zooga are having an affair behind Warga's back.

Warga

Warga gets along with no other Greatermost Gods except his mate Agrima, though he has worked with Sunra on occasion against Skyga.

Keyga

Keyga is the master of encryption. It is said that he holds the keys to secret sites in Virtù, and that he had locked away a powerful god somewhere in Virtù. His enmity against Pragma and Seaga is legendary.

Zooga

Zooga is a shapeshifter, changing his form to that of animal proges of all types. There is an alliance between Zooga and Agrima against Earthma, since they fear that Earthma may be encroaching upon their power. While they are close, Zooga denies that he is in love with Agrima. Warga despises this shapeshifting god.

Oddma

Oddma is the strangest of the Greatermost, and most call her mad. She collects odd sites and personae, and her behavior and beliefs vary from tick to tick. Some say that her madness is just a front for an insanely devious mind. Songma pities her, Moonsha taunts her, Pragma dismisses her, and other gods tolerate her. It could very well be that she is in league with some secretly. A.I. Aisles, the first AI comedian, visits her often. But make no mistake: her madness makes her a very dangerous god.

Pragma

Like Athena, she is known for her wisdom and her courage. She is direct and never shies from action. She despises Warga and engages him in battle often. The lessermost god, Annuity, is an associate of hers. She disapproves Oddma, thinking her impractical. Her interests lie in forms, search engines, and other functional scripts.

Songma

Songma is a peaceful goddess, preferring isolation and tranquility. Of the gods, she is the one to go to for arbitration. She tries to be impartial, but some (like Warga and Skyga) accuse her of being biased.
