About THREE MILLION YEARS AGO: The ancestors of the Harrakin are visited by the Wrexakt. The Wrexakt scientists set a plague loose on them and take half of the survivors. These survivors were experimented upon, initially creating the Neysar. The remaining ones were taken to a harsh desert planet and bred to be powerful slaves.

When the other Wrexakt return, they are destroyed and Harra's kin begin to expand and destroy more of the Wrexakt. A sect of Harrakin who wanted a free society left and eventually became the Lokar. The rest formed a militaristic society that warred with and almost completely destroyed the Wrexakt race. After destroying the Wrexakt, the Harrakin formed a caste system and began to expand ever outward, overtaking their neighbors and building an empire.
About 5000 BC The first spirit gods become independently sentient.

About 2000 BC In the lands that will be known as Greece, a band of New Ones takes initiative to organize followers of their own. Over the years, they take control of the entire peninsula.
About 1790 BC Hammurabi begins he reign in Babylon. His rewriting of legends and laws is the first recorded time that a single mortal engineered a massive powershift among the gods.
About 1400 BC Moses leads the Hebrews to freedom from Egypt.
About 1000 BC The Vedic age of India ends as detailed in the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita, highpoint for such gods as Shiva and Vishnu and the hero Krishna.
About 800 BC A group of New Ones follow the Greek lead and found a pantheon in Italy.
500 BC After Apollo kills Gaea over the Delphi shrine and Ragnarock leaves many dead, the gods agree upon a treaty known as the Concordat. They all retreat to pocket dimensions and leave the Earth to its own devices.
220 B.C An African immortal is brought from the Sahara to the armies of Hannibal, where he helps fight against Rome. Years later, the immortal takes the name "Hannibal" himself.
205 B.C The Vitalonage, a fellowship of immortals, meet for the first time. Antigone arranges for them to support Rome in the Punic Wars, ensuring the general Hannibal's eventual defeat. The immortal Hannibal later wrestles the Vitalongae out of Antigone's control, earning her eternal enmity.

1890 To complete his revenge against his captors, Hannibal returns to Africa and takes a harrowing voyage up the Congo with Joseph Conrad.
1915 Cornelius Owen, future Defence Department powermonger, is born to a wealthy Boston family.
Harvey Hauptman is born in working-class Cleveland.
1920s Hannibal helps black baseball player Satchel Paige achieve legendary status.
1934 Harvey saves Jerry Siegel's life; Siegel remembers this and creates "Overman" as a tribute; this spawns the creation of lots of other costumed heroes (note that Overman replaces Superman). Harvey is touched, and he covertly does other "good deeds" over the years, but is always too embarrassed to wear a costume or go public.
1941 Harvey registers for the army, as his patriotic duty; he tells them about his amazing powers. Cornelius Owen, feeling threatened by his presence, imprisons Harvey for the duration of the war in a Georgia prison designed solely for him. This prison, Fort Deliverance, will later become facility for incarcerating all manner of Omegas.
1944 Eisenhower decides Harvey would be more useful in the war than sitting around in Georgia. Harvey becomes a powerful force until he helps liberate Buchenwald and decides that he doesn't want to kill any more.
1945 Harvey is sent in to capture Hitler. He is not informed that Hitler has his own Omega called Deathbringer, a psionic vampire. Harvey manages to kill Deathbringer (so he thinks) and Hitler. Having no desire to go back to Fort Deliverance, Harvey allows everyone to think he's dead. Returning to America as a German refugee, Otto Blume, he buries himself in a new identity.
1953 Wes Hickman is born in Spokane, Washington. He is raised by two very patriotic parents.
Russel Pozen, an aspiring pediatrician, discovers his Omega ability to transmute the elements from solid, liquid, gas or plasma state into any of the other states. Lead into liquid lead, air into solid air. He decides to use this power as a Red-Smasher and dresses up as American Warmask.. Eventually he uses his powers on a human being, reducing him to a fine red smear inside of a cloud of gas. Startled and shocked by this, he decides to join the army, where he loses his right hand and believes that his powers are gone.
1954 Daniel Carter is born. He grows up on westerns, war movies, and especially comic books.
1959 Allen Covenant is born to a Wrigley Field grounds keeper and a high school music teacher in Chicago.
1962 Cornelius Owen, now a high ranking Defense Department official, forms SIRECOM (Special Intelligence Resources Command), a special multi-agency (CIA, NSA, DoD, etc.) group tailored to handle and employ Omegas. One president objects to proposed sphere of operations, but tragedy befalls him and a more sympathetic executive takes office.
1971 Wes Hickman joins the army, as a member of Bravo company, 1st of the 390th infantry Platoon. He is sent to an unnamed conflict in Southeastern Asia.
Anne Benson is Born. In one very important respect, she takes after her maternal grandfather, dear old Otto Blume...
1973 Wes Hickman is injured by shelling. Both of his arms are badly wounded. The event triggers his Omega, which allows him to survive. He is returned to the States, and given into the care of SIRECOM. Two mechanical arms are created for him, and as he recovers, he is indoctrinated into the SIRECOM program. Plans are laid for a new team of Omegas who are to help contain and train emergent psis. The team is to be codenamed Seekers.
1974 Dan Carter extreme violence gets him discharged from the army (he did some nasty things to his fellow troops). After some mysterious missing time, is hired by SIRECOM and becomes a useful agent.
Fresh out of College, Jarvin Tazakles and Javier Hugo form DYNAMAX, a genetic research lab that seeks to understand the nature of the Omega. The outfit seems benevolent at first...
1975 Jarvin Tazakles meets Cornelius Owen. Recognizing a useful alliance, Tazakles begins (W/o Hugo's knowledge) to design and build devices for SIRECOM. In return, Owen provides Tazakles with 'Guinea Pig' Omegas to experiment on.
1976 Beth Anderson goes to work for DYNAMAX. Although she rises high in their Experimental Genetics division, she never gets in to examine Tazakles' "Black Labs."
1977 Daniel Anderson, son of Thomas and Beth Anderson, is born. He will help found a group of Omega's called the Colony. Dan Cheng, close friend turned enemy of Allen Covenant, mysteriously disappears. Undersecretary of Defense Cornelius Owen retires. He still takes a large hand in running SIRECOM. Dan Carter is Owen's main control over the agency.
1979 Jarod Kincaid expresses his Omega while involved in an industrial accident, saving the lives of several men as a river of molten steel pours over him, shielding them and changing him.
1980 The Andersons adopt Eric, a boy who they had been fostering. The Omega crimelord known as the Fix plots to start a reign of terror. She is stopped by SIRECOM's elite Omega team Defcon One, but at the cost of agents Cheryl Logan and (apparently) John Soul. The Fix is imprisoned in Fort Deliverance.
1985 Allen Covenant gets a job as a professor of para-psychology at Antioch College. One of his students, Eldin Vincent, hypnotizes another student named Issac Warner into summoning and bonding with the Sumerian god of war, Nergal. The ritual goes awry and Issac slaughters numerous people before Allen exorcises Nergal.
1991 Beth Anderson, a geneticist at DYNAMAX LABS, discovers just how the company is getting its knowledge of Psionic abilities and Omegas. She is killed, as is her husband, in an incident that looks like a gas explosion. The three DYNAMAX agents who came to kill them have their minds ripped out by the emergent powers of Danny Anderson, who then mind controls one of them to help himself and his brother escape. The other two are so consumed by the fire that all of the Anderson's are considered dead.
1992 Allen Covenant takes his leave of Antioch and is hired by Dynamax Labs as a Omega specialist.
1992-3 The Colony begins to take shape as Danny Anderson begins recruiting Omegas, mostly runaways or misfits, with his telepathy and telling them of a place they can retreat to. The actual bases are built underground in the outskirts of Chicago and Detroit.
Eric Anderson goes into a coma for a month: When he awakens, he's very different... Anne Benson, out of college and trying to start a career, suddenly and unwillingly gets "triggered." Dan Carter and SIRECOM investigate the report of a new Omega in the DC area and both Anne and Harvey find themselves on the run. Allen Covenant discovers the abuses in Dynamax and flees with his ex-students Bob Warskoviak (Threll) and Issac Warner. Head towards the Colony in Chicago. A mysterious, fast moving Omega makes his appearance in Crystal City. Alexander Cox discovers that he can shape telekinetic energy into physical extensions of himself and begins having fun with it. Jarod Kincaid is killed by Deathbringer. Anne and Harvey arrive in Chicago to help Eric Anderson kill him once again. Allen Covenant arrives in Chicago at the same time. Eldin Vincent and his wife Sarah accidentally discover and activate an ancient space ship. The systems attack them, but Eldin summons the god Shiva for aid. Shiva, circumventing the mysterious Concordat, possesses Eldin and begins to use the ship's technology for his own.
Shiva announces his plan to destroy 80% of the world population. Eric battles his messenger, Kali, and accidentally teleports out of the solar system after a nuclear explosion. SIRECOM locates the Colony and raids it on Owen's orders. SEEKERS are sent in and help the Colonists stop the raid. The forces gathered at the Colony join together and send a team to Shiva's base in Newfoundland. They send Shiva back to where he came and stop all but one of the shuttles loaded with the virus. It lands somewhere in Siberia. The Marn Race is murdered by the being known variously as the God Killer, The Slayer of Time, the Killer of all Things, and under hundreds of other names. Eric Anderson finds the planet Marn minutes later, and after learning of the event destabilizes the Marn central reactor in order to give them a funeral. Two Days Later: Eric Anderson catches up to the God Killer on the planet Wolda. Along with Axxa, a Maaranth of the Wol, he battles and eventually destroys the Killer. The battle caused the Wol enclave Morr to become an orbiting, if deserted, city. Axxa died. Todd Collins begins taking classes at the University of Massachuset. He shortly learns of his demonic heritage and powers.
Eric Anderson crash-lands in the Atlantic Ocean, in the region known as the Bermuda Triangle. Converging forces at a Rolling Stones concert forces Cornelius Owen to publicly step down and relinquish his vendetta against Harvey Hauptman.
A group of Chinese scientists form a gestalt of Omega minds called Leviathan. After a rampage it flees into space.
Allen Covenant burns down Dynamax Columbus. Danny Anderson learns the truth behind his mother's involvement in Dynamax's butchering of Omegas and her relationship with Tazakles. Jarvin Tazakles finally loses control as AIDS sets in and he tries to take everyone with him. The surviving Colonists along with others raid Dynamax Detroit which is subsequently blown up by Tazakles while he is still in the building. At the same time, a vigilante calling himself "The Eye of Justice" videotapes Dynamax personnel conducting vivisection's and Dynamax's image is destroyed. The Colony disbands.
A Wrexakt ship arrives on Earth, followed shortly by a renegade fleet of Harrakin. The Wrexakt are defeated and Eric finds his real mother. The Harrakin settle in Antarctica within the heavily monitored "Harrakin Exclusion Zone." Hannibal disappears, and his protégée Jack Russell tries to unravel his mystery and deal with his enemies.
Charlotte Gillian kills Alex Cox's girlfriend, Rachel. Her ghost fuses with his and bolsters his powers, along with twisting his mind into becoming Raven. A rampage follows in which much of Cincinnati is destroyed as various Omegas try to stop it. In his attempt, Tempest merges with Raven. A mysterious Omega called O.G. splits Raven. Alex is killed by Charlotte. The Eye of Justice infiltrates a camp of "Alphas," people who believe Omegas are the spawn of Satan. He sends a tape of their illegal armory and other activities to a local sheriff who sends it to the ATF.
The Government surrounds the Alpha camp. Allen Covenant is crippled and aged in the event. The influence of Brian and true faith of some Alphas prevents a total blood bath.
The Fix is released from imprisonment and an old team called Defcon One reforms to catch her. With the secret aid of Owen, she takes control of the Harrakin in Antarctica. She is finally defeated after a massive force of Omegas is gathered to combat them.
Eric Anderson has been living a human life in Bronxville, New York with his cat Oppenheimer and his semi-girlfriend Laura as Thomas Ericsson, refusing to use his powers. Then he has a dream. The God-Killer descends to Earth for real this time and kills all but the Green Harrakin in the Exclusion Zone. It plans to use the Harrakin to boost its own life-draining powers and then to consume all life on Earth. Eric confronts the God-Killer and uses his powers to trap it in a Black Hole Singularity, but only after suffering major power drain. The Harrakin Armada sends a small detachment (A N'tirislath,or 'Spear Thrust') into the Terran System. It comes out of 4th-dimensional space around Saturn, and is spotted by Leviathan. Leviathan decides to contact the only being on Earth it knows can possibly aid it, Eric Anderson. Despite his exhaustion, Eric agrees, donning a suit of Harrakin Armor and going to confront the fleet. After a brief skirmish, he challenges the leader of that fleet, his biological father, to Tisaridron.
The Harrakin fleet, led by Emperor Hallatiris, finally reaches Earth. Hallatiris promises peaceful relations with his people's homeworld, but a suspicious cabal of Owen, Antigone, Tatris, and Sestus arranges to depose him and place Tatris on the throne. War breaks out instantly once Tatris takes over, and humanity finds itself fighting off a full-fledged invasion. Omegas lead Earth's resistance, defending several cities and concocting a strategy to delay the fleet from invading. Earth's Omegas stall Tatris further by having Tempest challenge him to Tisaridron, ceremonial combat for the throne. A team of Earth's most powerful Omegas fights the Tisaridron, and a squad of Accursed assassins sent to kill them, while an Omega commando team attempts to kill Tatris. The Omegas win and Tempest succeeds to the Harrakin throne, leaving Earth and taking the fleet back to their Homeworld.
