Calisarda

Jacob's Pattern Sword Calisarda is known as the Trinity Blade. It was previously associated with an individual named Orson, and now has passed to Jacob by unknown means.

It's name comes from a legend that it was forged in the heartfire of three suns. Accordingly it's forged from some material that has defied metallurgists to identify.

It's form is that of a long sword, with a slightly wider blade than what would be typical for that type of sword. The blade itself is polished to a gleam, with the thin black lines of the Pattern standing out in sharp relief.

The hilt and cross guard gleams with an almost golden sheen, and is embedded with three fiery gemstones, which are not mentioned in Orson's Tale. Other than the gems, it is free of any other engraving.

Curiously, the sword is usually warm to the touch, and is said to vibrate ever so slightly when in battle. In complete darkness, it radiates a soft light.

Jacob claims it has another form, which is quite different, but has been reluctant to discuss it further.

The Trinity Sword contains the Seventh Segment (of eleven) of the Pattern.
