FUDGE wasn't the first game with which I fell in love, but it's the one that I've remained in love with the longest. FUDGE itself is the first true generic RPG that I've ever seen (even GURPS falls short in that regards, in my humble opinion). I downloaded it off of the 'net in 1994 or so and it's been on my computer ever since.

Because FUDGE is so incredibly modular, I've designed a two-tiered system for my FUDGE projects. The first tier is called Metasystem and it is a fairly generic set of rules without much meat to them. However, all my actual supplements will derive from Metasystem. Yes, it's Object-oriented game design!
