CyberGeneration was the near-stillborn son of Cyberpunk 2020. When it was released, it set the entire Cyberpunk community on fire... but nobody noticed. The sad thing is that CyberGeneration was really a diamond in the rough; it worked as a concept, but needed someone to divorce it from its roots a touch more before it could really work. This was done on a game-level in some ways (the first edition was released as a supplement to its father game but with simplified rules; the second was a stand-alone) but never really implement in the game world, where it was most needed. CG was eventually allowed to die an almost unnoticed death, kept alive only by a very slender 'net fan base.
