Reviews of John W. Campbell Award Winners

This is a list of John W. Campbell Memorial Award winners, including ratings for those books that I've read and links to reviews where I've written one.

This was a judged award for the best SF novel of the year published in the United States (not to be confused with the former John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer that's awarded with the Hugos and has been renamed to the Astounding Award). It was administered by the J. Wayne and Elsie M. Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas until James Gunn's death in 2020.

This award has not been given since 2019 after a change of management of the Center for the Study of Science Fiction following James Gunn's death. As of 2024, it is unclear whether it will be revived.

Ratings for books that don't have a review are based on my memory of the book. The rating may well change if I get a chance to read the book again.
