How To Draw Giant Robots
Reviews of various books.
I occupy an odd position, artistically. I'm not good enough to go
professional, and probably will never care enough to put in the effort
required to get up to pro level. But I've got some formal training, and am
no novice. Which means that, for me, most "How To Draw" books will at best
teach me one or two tricks. But I also like to review things, so I buy
pretty much every How To Draw book I can find that covers robots. And here's
a collection of the reviews so far. Since a lot of them share similar
titles, I've also included the publisher.
Preface and
Philsophy
Each of these is a simple text file, and other than the
Preface they follow this format:
Title
ISBN: This should let you order it from your local store.
Publisher: For the US release, if there was a previous foreign release.
Author: Individual or group, really means "artist" in this case. But it's
who the book will be listed under, if the ISBN isn't enough for some
odd reason.
Publication Date in English: Or just plain publication date, if it was
originally done in English.
Series: If this is part of a series of books, I'll say so.
Price: The most recent price I can find, if there's not one on the book.
Pagecount:
Color: Is there any color art on the interior, and if so, how much? All of
them have color covers.
Breasts: Hey, you might be looking for something to give to a minor. I'll
let you know if there's any naked organic breasts.
Short Impression: I'll try to boil my views of the book down to a sentence or
two here.
And then the main body will go into some more detail.
