Big bright splattermarks Of sunshine on the floor Unbelievable blue outside. The curtains are blowing inwards With the breeze Making the fabric-daisies dance And cooling my tea. Yellow walls, kitchen table Wind-chimes quietly sounding It'll be awhile before anyone's home. The greens need some water So while I'm up, The kettle goes On the burner again. Then a wild song fills me And I don't know what to do With myself. I'm too, too happy - I want to run, but can't For being jelly-kneed suddenly. The music goes up. And I play along, My whistle sings along. This is how I feel, This is how it makes me feel, What can I do? I'm happy and I don't know how To react and to share it. And I dance; I can't not. The sun dances along with me Reflecting off the water Onto the walls. I light a candle on the windowsill And it takes a flickering moment To blow out. My shoes have spring heels And wings on the sides Little paper angel wings That really work. And up again, the music yells Gleefully, flying in the air Dispersing clouds and birds I'm up there with it all.
