The Habitat: Main Central Dome(#518RAFM) Large and circular in shape, the center dome is the largest, having no inner walls to seperate it into various rooms. Instead, the structure is a single vast chamber with a high, curved ceiling. Clear windows line the walls high above, midway between the highest point and the floor, allowing light to filter in during the day, or dim moonlight at night. At set intervals along the outer perimeter lie carefully crafted statues made of stone, placed within small outcoves and dimly lit by a single light that is embedded above it. Each statue is a tediously hand crafted piece of artwork done in stone, representing one hero, which all face the center of the room. On the floor in the center is a large symbol, with 'The Seven' written across it. Three tubes lead off into various other domes, which are all empty, dark, and abandoned. His name is Wally West, otherwise known as The Flash. c'mon,y ou know who he is. Everyone does. And normally he's the Fastest Man Alive, which he still is, but also right now he's being the most juvenille adult alive. "Okay, well," he starts, after he comes to a stop with you here, setting you down, "You make sure the place is clear...a nd I'll go get the cellophane." Coming in at a close second for most immature adult -- and to a shameful degree, considering his actual age -- is our friend the Sandman. Before he pulls down his mask, he grins. "You got it, Wally. We doing all levels? Inside, outside? What's the plan?" Giving the place a brief look-over, the guy blinks. "Gloryosky, these kids sure are livin' large..." "Oh, for this gig, just the inside, I assure you. Can't think of a way to flood the outside without getting Superman pissed at me, and I'd rather not do that..." Witht hat Wally is off, and then back, and off, and back, bringing in boxes and boxes and boxes of the stuff. "Well, just make sure to wrap up all of their stuff super well. Double and triple. No need for it to get leaked on and such, so everyhting will have to be bundled up tight. It'd make for half the fun, you know, peeling off lyer after layer of wet plastic." And then the flash snickers as he keeps bringing in more and more of the stuff. Fortunately, he knows a guy that had to unload this stuff. Too strong to be torn, the factory made it, for regular folk that is, but it's just perfect for what Wally has in mind. Brining in more of it still, he also makes sure to apply some on his way out, wanting to coat the entire inside of this base with it. It takes a second for Sandy to 'catch up', as it were, and when he does he laughs so hard he gets weak in the knees. "You...(hahah!) didn't tell me that...that (hee hee hee!) was what you were...(ahahaha*snort*)...planning! My GOD! It's /genius!/" It also takes him a bit to calm down and be useful again, though throughout, he's still prone to fits of uncontrollable giggles. See? See?? He can, and does laugh! Just need something to get him right. Finally, he starts checking out the rest of the base, making note of what's gonna need the most protection. "Make sure to get their Playstation!" Wally shouts that out after you as he keeps wrapping. "I'm not going to buy them another one!" And he's snickering too, as he moves around, wrapping everything in sight. "I havene't even added the water yet.... but c'mon we gotta' act quick, before they get back." And then red and gold buzz around you, as Wally kicks it into high gear, to get this place done ASAP. Getting the Playstation /and/ the Dreamcast, and assorted electronics and musical instruments and communications equipment, and computers -- ah, but Wally's so much faster. Finally Sandy leaves the wrapping to the speedster and heads into the basement. "I'm off to find their ocean exit - Dolphin told me it was underneath somewheres. We can probably do the water easiest from there, and it won't bug her because it's salt..." he calls, his voice receding as he goes down the turbolift shaft. "One step ahead of me... see? That's why I brought you." He winks as he stops before you,t o share that, and then it's off to work to get everything done. It's a good thing he asked with the water types to make sure he could use this much water for something like this. Of course Orin doesn't like him much anyway, so Wally will put up with the added stares. But then, having everything done, the floor is squeeky-wrapped and Wally moves to try and find this thing with you. And once there he starts to think on how to do this, without drowning you. Calmly holding up a rebreather with a grin, Sandy raises his eyebrows. "What you'll probably want to do is open all the inside doors and close all the outside windows and exits, and I'll go down there," he points into the water, "and make sure the ocean door is open. Up top there's a roof exit - do you have some way of creating a really powerful vacuum?" "Oh yeah," Flash chuckles. "As I go, doing the doors and stuff, I'll just make a vortex to push all of the air out ahead of me. So, I'll fly out that top hatch, the air will all go out before me and the water should fill right in. I'll kick over the top hatch just before the water gets there, so... ah, I'll pick you up atthe harbor." He winks. "Thanks Sandy, for all this. The little bastards deserve it." And then he's off, in motion. You should do so as well, yeah? 'Flash'ing Wally a thumbs-up (get it? get it??), Sandy smirks and fits the rebreather into his mouth, diving into the already-roiling pool of saltwater. He slips beneath the surface, opening his eyes and making his way silently to the door below - yeah, it's open. And he'd better go through it -fast-, before he gets trapped inside the base. And...he's out, on his way to the harboe. Waiting for you at the docks, likely a bizarre sight to the Metropolitans here, Flash is bent over just laughing. Laughing and laughing. Oh, he can't wait for one of them to open the door now! Hahahahahahaha! But, waiting for you to surface, he'll be sure to help you out. "I'll make sure you get air dried on the way home... and we should go quick, before my girlfriend shows up to lecture me or something..." Breaking the surface rather clumsily due to laughing like bloody f**k, it's all Sandy can do to dog-paddle over to the docks so Wally can help tug him out. As soon as the rebreather's out, he's laughing just as loud as Wally is. "God...Dol is gonna /kill/ me..."
