Hey, everyone! How's everything going? When I saw the picture on
this card in the shop, it just sorta had "Ariel" written all over it.
So, I took my eraser out, and...heh heh, well, anyway, I just had to
get it.

Was glad to hear Lori's skin prob got fixed...bet you're a lot more hapsitch now that you don't have to worry about it. Hope this means you'll be enjoying yourself a lot more...

[Desert Eagle .50 Automatics] Hey, look at this kelvin picture I found! That's right, it's the Desert Eagle .50 cal--the grandaddy of the gun I gave Ariel! There's another one further down...By the way, Ariel, have you given it a name yet? How's it doing? (Knack, I wish I could talk to machines like you can, sometimes...)

How're the mechanoids getting along? I don't know if you know or not, but one of them's adopted Patches...think it happened just before the wedding. She calls it Victorinox--and we just found out the other day it's a girl. Guess we gotta call her Vickie now.

What other stuff? Oh, check. We moved out of Specs's place, Patchwork and I did. Figured we'd probably better not impose any more than we had to, and Derek had rooms available on his ship...and so we're there! It's a great place, and Alice's got a maxkelv world...I'm spending a lot of time going between there and Terrania now. I've never had a lot of nature before, and now I do, and it's terrific! Except I got sunburned. Oh, and the body's coming along...maybe if we're lucky we can have Patches in it before you get back, wouldn't that be great?

[Desert Eagle .50 and Ammo] I've been talking a bit to Heather about this new company...Facets or Facettes or something, I think she's calling it. I don't know if I told you yet, but they made me the head tunnelscout. Dunno what that means, exactly...have I got a department or just me? But I'm still gonna be reporting to Lisa, so I guess that part of it's okay. Anyway, Heather's latest idea seems to be to start a newspaper for the local 'Plex. I'm kinda skeptical about this, but I guess it'll work out, or it won't, or something. I'm also skeptical about a few other things, but this isn't the sitch for that. Talk about it when you all get back, I guess.

Oh! Almost forgot to mention...we had a couple visitors today. A guy from the Quilts, named Steel, and none other than my old buddy Jose-can-you-see from the Rims. Matter'fac, he's staying with us in the ship tonight, and we expect Enriquez, another tunnel buddy of mine, any span now. Yeah, as I thought, looks like the postquake neg's gonna start real soonsitch. And Taervac's is gonna be the place for it. Dunno when, probably won't be long, though.

And something else I found out tonight...one of the local tunnelgangs, the Centrists, has disappeared. Poof. No trace. And maybe this wouldn't be so bad, but they were the main brewers and distillers for the local area. With them gone, 90% or more of the beer and liquor supplies for _everyone_'s vanished. It's like Seattle fell off the face of the earth. Dunno what this is gonna do to local politics...Taer's thinking about going into wholesaling. Maybe we could get him to join Facets.

Anyway, that's about it for tonight...I'm having to write really tiny, almost out of room...glad I got an econ-sized card.

See ya when!

Sinceresitch...

Serena

P.S. (next morning)Morgana came to Taer's this morning! Would say more, but out of ro
