Katuscon Ichi Photos
During spring semester '95 (in the middle of February, in fact) , I went to my second Anime convention, Katsucon Ichi. I had a grand old time, meeting more people that I'd only met on the net or read about, and also got to meet and talk with some of the 'greats' in the american manga/comic industry. As per usual, I took pictures of the people I met, and now they are finally -here- for your perusal! :)
(all of these pictures were taken by a Kodak Instamatic, so the quality isn't the -best-... )
[Note: All the files are smaller than 7 k, so don't be afraid to view them! :) ]
- Rob DeJesus: Robert DeJesus (of Antarctic Press), who I met at last year's Otakon, reappeared at KatsuCon (he's done some NHS stuff)
- Ben Dunn: Ben Dunn, the creator/writer/artist of Ninja High School, founder of Antarctic Press, and a pretty nice guy, as he worked on art during the convention.
- Fred Perry: The other 'great' I managed to hang around with at Katsucon was Fred Perry, creator of Gold Digger. He is cool, 'nuff said. :)
- Megazone: One of the original Undocumented Features authors, and the moderator of the R.A.A.S archive, whom I was able to meet for the first time.
- Mechaman and SSRat: Here we see James "Mechaman" Reinhart and Richard "Stainless Steel Rat" Pieri at the con. (Mechaman's on the left, and Rat's on the right)
- The Fanfic Panel: Here's some members of the anime fanfic panel: From the left it's: Ryan Matthews, Jeffrey "Rogue1" Hosmer, and John Biles.
- The Horrid Truth: Zoner finally confronts what he and his freinds have wrought: The current (as of the con) printed Undocumented Features, in its entirety. Muahahahahaha.... >:)
- Eric (not Daniel) Pawtowski: One of the members of the con staff who helped keep the -entire- show together.
- Radman: Rich "Radman" Anderson, a man of unparalled artistic talent, and almost as unparalled hentai-ness. Click here to see some of his fanart.
