Status: Member of Team M.E.C.H.A. before Industrial Revolution caused it to break up
History: Dr. Odd Science received a doctorate in Science, one of the first of his current generation to do so (unlike his cousins, who only have Master's degrees). He wanted to put his knowledge of Science to use for good, not evil, thus he began to work on a project that might be of the greatest benefit to good: nanotechnology.
In late 1993, Dr. Odd Science decided to sponsor the Odd Science Convention in Springfield, Missouri. He ran the convention from behind the scenes, actually attending incognito as Dr. Anthony McLaren so that he might be in a better position to stop the Brothers Science if they were to make an appearance. It was during this convention that he met Summer, and became involved with the Team M.E.C.H.A. vs. Invid_ & TONN_ battle that ensued. After being rescued from TONN by Team M.E.C.H.A., Science revealed his true identity, joined Team M.E.C.H.A., and shortly thereafter began to investigate the effects of the explosion upon Summer.
During the Zwarghoff occupation of Team M.E.C.H.A. Headquarters, Dr. Science created the device that would blind the S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S.'s sensor systems. Afterward, he completed the Bahamode Sigma combining mecha system so that Team M.E.C.H.A. and Spectrum could defeat the Mighty Muddy Power Grangers in Bob City.
After the breakup of Team M.E.C.H.A., Dr. Science returned to the HQ and continued his researches into nanotechnological repair systems for mecha.
Known powers:A doctorate in Science (exactly which form of Science is never implicitly stated), an almost instinctive grasp of scientific applications. Can build little scientific gadgets like smoke bombs or flash flares, and is extremely knowledgeable about the field of nanotechnology. Rudimentary mecha combat skills. Dr. Science is Team M.E.C.H.A.'s most learned scientist and technician. He typically does not wish to become involved in mecha battles, but will do so if necessary.
Description: 5'9", late 30s/early 40s, brown hair, brown eyes, wears glasses & usually a lab coat; looks just a bit like Steven King only less nerdy. He is fond of using large words, but not to the point where he becomes totally incomprehensible. He is concerned for his teammates, especially Summer. He is fascinated by Summer's strange new abilities, and sometimes his scientific curiosity overcomes his concerns.
