Are you a singer, poet, or comedian? Ever thought about performing? Couldn’t afford the rental fees for a stadium, lasers, and pyrotechnics? The Second Saturdays Coffee House Open Mic may be the venue for you! People of all ages have stopped by to perform original works and favorite pieces. Come to perform, or simply to enjoy.

Guidelines for performers

Sign-up begins at 7:30 PM. We have a limited number of slots, so if you arrive late we cannot guarantee you one.

In your slot, you may perform two songs (no more than ten minutes, please), five minutes of poetry, or ten minutes of comedy. If time permits, we may invite performers to make a second appearance.

Please be aware of your audience. There may be children present.

We are looking for guest hosts

Want to host an open mic? If Kenny Woods, Erik Metzger, and Ben Lipman can do it, so can you! Contact us at info@secondsaturdays.org and we’ll see about getting you on the schedule. Guest hosts take on the “master of ceremonies” role—introducing performers, making announcements, and keeping the audience entertained while we set up for the next act—and get some extra performance time of their own.
