Situation:Amada Waller reorganized Task Force X, also known as 'The Suicide Squad'. Colonel Richard Montgomery Flag learned of the reactivation and had himself assigned to Task Force X. He was a member of the previous Task Force X. Amanda Waller's first recruit, Ben Turner, a.k.a The Bronze Tiger, and Flag travel to Riker's Island to recruit Floyd Lawton, a.k.a. Deadshot. Upon arriving for Task Force X's first mission, they met the rest of the first team. June Moone, a.k.a The Enchantress, George 'Digger' Harkness, a.k.a. Captain Boomerang, and Blockbuster.

For each of the recruits with pending criminal charges, an offer is made. Serve the United States, survive the mission and have charges dropped to time served. Each individiual of that group is fitted with an explosive bracelet that will detonate if any of the group moves too far from Colonel Flag.

Antagonist:Brimstone, an agent of Darkseid (this fact was not known to anyone save Darkseid and his circle of advisors. Brimstone thought himself an angel of a dark and angry god, placed on Earth to purge sin), was threatening to 'cleanse this Earth of its false gods and graven idols', starting with Mount Rushmore.

Mission Team:Colonel Flag, Bronze Tiger, Enchantress, Blockbuster, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang

Plan:Analysis of Brimstone indicated that Brimstone was composed of plasma given form by magnetic fields. Deadshot was supplied with a prototype laser rifle desinged to penetrate magnetic fields. In order to give Deadshot time to move into firing range, Blockbuster and Captain Boomerang were to occupy Brimstone's attention. Bronze Tiger and Enchantress were positioned to contain the plasma as it was freed from its magnetic confines.

Results:Blockbuster kept Brimstone off balance by ripping up the ground it stood on while Captain Boomerang added a few of his trick boomerangs. Deadshot and Flag moved into range to deploy the laser. Deadshot's aim was perfect and Brimstone's magnetic fields were dissipated. Enchantress turned the plasma into a snowstorm. Mission successful.

Casualties:Blockbuster was killed in action by Brimstone when Brimstone picked him up in his (Brimstone's) flaming fist and proceeded to incinerate him.

Enchantress was rendered unconcious by Bronze Tiger after the completion of the mission.
