Well, let's see. What's doin'? I went to a concert for the first time in ages, in this case, the Moody Blues. One of their band members lives around here and thus they like to start their tours in Tallahassee. I suppose it's sort of like the warm-up before the real thing. Not because the crowds are small, although they probably are compared to really big places, but because most of the people who go to rock concerts around here are happy enough to sit around and drink beer (which is, of course, readily available). The presence of live music makes them positively exstatic.

Some of the Moody Blues have grey hair. Egads. They still seem pretty 'hip', though.

In other news, it was a good weekend for reading books, in this case, The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, which was weird, but what did you expect? Also, Rincewind the Wizzard, a compilation of the four early Rincewind stories by Terry Pratchett (The Colour of Magic, The Light Fantastic, Sourcery and Eric), which was good because the darn things are out of print, which makes them rather troublesome to find.

Meanwhile, heen.
