I am a Second Place winner of the Writers of the Future Contest (volume XXIII), a 2008 Prix Aurora Awards nominee in the category of "Best Short-Form Work in English" for my novelette Metamorphoses in Amber, and a Finalist for the 2009 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.	News Alembical 2, which contains my novella "The Paragon Lure", is now available for pre-order from Paper Golem through the end of May. Free shipping on domestic orders on the pre-orders, as well as any other Paper Golem book, until the end of May. * "A Sweet Calling" has been published in Clarkesworld #44, May 2010 issue! Podcast version now available here. This story is my tribute to the vanishing art of candy blowing, which has been seen in the streets of China since the Tang Dynasty.
