IMPORTANT NOTE - Figure I should point this out here, rather than in the Policy section of the main page. If I don't have a piece of information on my page, there's a good chance I don't know, or I know and have agreed to keep it secret. I don't leave stuff off this page for capricious reasons, after all. About the only stuff I do know and leave off for non-secret reasons is information I think is better handled on www.bwtf.com, such as info about the show. Just so you know, if you email me a question, you'll probably get one of the following five answers:

  1. I don't know, sorry.
  2. It's a secret, I can't tell, sorry.
  3. That's on bwtf.com.
  4. That's on my page, in the (whatever) section.
  5. There's information out there, but I don't trust it.

REMINDER - If you're on AOL (or any other ISP with such things) and have parental controls set, I can't reply to your email unless you put my address on your "okay" list. Otherwise it just bounces. I've been getting a number of bounces lately. In general, if you ask a question (rather than just reporting a sighting) and I don't get back to you in a couple days, assume that I tried emailing you and got a bounce.

TF ART COMMISSIONS: Unreal Books is acting as agent for several "official" TF artists, if you've been meaning to commission some work but can't make it out to a convention to do so in person. As of 3/7/08, the roster includes Frank Milkovich, Alex Milne, and a few superhero artists I've never heard of.

HASBRO REBATE FEB/MARCH 2008 - Check your Sunday paper's ads for a two-page spread from Hasbro. All products in selected brands (Transformers included) are eligible for a rebate, save your receipts from now through March 23, 2008. Maximum rebate is $50 for $150+ in qualifying purchases. The rebate isn't cash, though, it's a gift certificate for HasbroToyShop.com. Still, consider that by the time you get the certificate in the mail, Animated toys will be available.... The form is also available online.

ONLINE DEALS NOTE - 11/15/05 - I don't intend to keep track of things like coupon codes that give a discount on toys, but I encourage you to go to Hot Deals Club and submit any you find. It's a good site to keep an eye on, and if you all start submitting online coupon codes you find, it'll be even more useful for us.

MORE HYPE - 5/1/03 - RoboMACs, my giant robot RPG, is now available as a PDF at RPGnow.com alongside Modern Knights. Trent Troop did the CGI cover art, and his partner Ron did most of the interiors. A hardcopy version will follow eventually. The original Transformers-ish setting book can be found here.

HYPE - 1/6/03 - My superhero RPG, Modern Knights, is now available for sale as a PDF at RPG.net Mall for $10. Still waiting on a few final pieces of art before we can put up RoboMACs, my giant robot RPG. Hardcopies will come later, once the current crisis in small publisher distribution is sorted out. 4/1: Update - The previous link still works, but we're unlikely to get paid for any sales through it (long story involving a distributor going down the hoooole). RPGnow.com Now carries the PDF as well, and will soon have RoboMACs (the final cover is done, yay!).
