                           SECTION SIX: 2026

     As the ASH Universe has grown, especially thanks to the DEEP ARMAGEDDON
crossover and its fallout, the Timeline has become a bit unwieldy.  As a
result, it has now been broken up by year.  This file will cover the stories
that took place in 2026, the current year.  It also has the status of the
various titles.

JANUARY 

     In the wake of the breaking of Montreal's dome, the various factions
start to scramble for position...and the Leviathan begins a new struggle with
the living spirit of the planet.  [ASH #65]
     Chris Kelsey is returned from his extratemporal captivity, seemingly
stripped of his powers. [ASH #65]
     The Leviathan loses the battle and is split into four components: a
diminished version of herself, the metallic ibis Bronzewing, the stone beetle
Heraclius, and the magma lion Infernion.  This deeply concerns Delta Rose,
who starts making plans for the possible destruction of Venus. [ASH #66-67]
     Scott Handleman breaks off his engagement to Julie Sylvester (aka
Juliana Silvestri).  [ASH #67]
     Heraclius sends out countless spawn to explore Venus and help him find
what he is missing.  For the most part they simply explore without incident,
but there are some misunderstandings.  [ASH #68]
     The United World debates the disposition of territory on Venus, and is
shocked by Q'Nos's announcement that they lay claim by birthright to the
entire planet.  [ASH #68]  Further shocking them is an apparently pact
between Q'Nos and Khadam regarding Venus.  [ASH #68-69]
     Peregryn starts his search for the Archangeli heir on Venus.  [ASH #69]
     Juliana Silvestri is approached to design a wedding for Rex Umbrae and
an unnamed but presumably cyborged bride.  [ASH #69]
     Heraclius himself approaches Falcon Bay, seeking what his scouts told
him could be found there.  Finding it, he departs after largely ignoring
efforts by ASH and a squad of NAC Marshals to stop him.  The fight is
broadcast on worldwide networks back on Earth, thanks to the actions of
Conflicto.  [ASH #70]


FEBRUARY

     Reinforcements from Earth arrive on Venus too late to make a difference,
and begin an investigation.  Conflicto's role is theorized.  [ASH #70]
     Juliana Silvestri goes to Manhattan to start planning the Umbrae
wedding.  Meanwhile, Hellhound is active in dealing with Paragangers who
aren't being properly policed by the enigmatic "Hangmen", and Warden finds
out about the wedding.  [ASH #71]
     The former Photosynth meets the Leviathan and makes a bargain.  [ASH
#71] 
     The United World considers attempting to directly negotiate with the
giant monsters of Venus.  [ASH #72]
     Someone starts killing the Hangmen in Manhattan, but the evidence points
in several different directions.  Meanwhile, the wedding plans proceed.  [ASH
#72-73]
     Bronzewing, the giant metal ibis of Venus, has a vision of a potentially
disastrous future, as well as seeing herself as present at the upcoming
wedding of Peregryn and Essay.  [ASH #73]
     A bachelorette party in Washington FS for Maria Incarnata, the bride of
Umbrae, is almost interrupted by a Scytharian stealth squad, but this is
prevented by Morgan Adams.  [ASH #74]


MARCH

     On March 14, Maria Incarnata and Rex Umbrae are married, with the
ceremony interrupted by the presumed-dead Supernaut.  Supernaut is declared
to have been behind the Hangmen killings.  [ASH #75]
     On March 20, Sara Ana Rodriguez and Howard Henderson Jr. (Peregryn) are
married on Venus, with various spirits of the planet in attendance.  During
the reception, their daughter is born, but as a boy, having been born with
metamorphic powers.  [ASH #76]
     The next day, with the help and permission of Claudette and Yvan Viau,
Peregryn is able to restore Comet's human body.  She and Solar Max spend the
rest of the month on a second honeymoon on Venus.  [ASH #76]
     About a week after the wedding, Jo Ridley finds Gimble on Venus.  [ASH
#89]


APRIL

     Lightfoot, Conflicto, Arc, Bobby Chambers and Ethan "Dice" Kynes prepare
for the inaugural running of the Prix Ultime paranormal race in Monaco, while
a mysterious woman observes the various members of the CSV.  [ASH #76, CSV
#26] 
     April 15, 2026 is a busy day.  At the opening of the Prix Ultime, time
is split into four strands, following four different pathways inside Monaco,
leading to different winners in each strand, and deaths in one.  [ASH #77]
ASH, the CSV, STRAFE and EUROPA combine forces to evacuate people from the
path of the growing time bubble, and devise a plan to reunite the shattered
timelines.  Meanwhile, fissures in time are opening up all over the world.
[CSV #27] Successfully merging the timelines, the four people involved
(Triton, Solar Max, Aegis and Jen Kleinvogel) mysteriously vanish, replaced
by four unknown supernormals: Chiaroscuro, Anhydra, Talos and Matrioshka.
These four seem to be working with the mysterious woman who had been
observing the CSV.  The foursome split up and fight the four teams, easily
holding their own but suffering minor losses before leaving for unknown
reasons.  Llyr and Rasputin of EUROPA are killed in action, and many others
are seriously injured.  [ASH #78] ASH manages to recover a sarcophagus from
Chiaroscuro during the battle, and after some study it is opened to reveal a
weakened Chris "Timeslip" Kelsey.  Meanwhile, the four newcomers and the
mysterious woman (known only as Never) form the Impossible Five, dedicated to
conquering the world as they had in their native year of 2052.  The missing
four heroes (and villain) are revealed to have been thrust into the past,
where their presence is causing a Timequake.  [CSV #28]
     As part of the Timequake, a dinosaur runs loose in Rome, a demonic
Mongol fleet appears in the Sea of Japan, a Nazi Panzer column overruns part
of Poland, and a Santari planetary bombardment ship from the 37th Century
emerges from a time rift (and immediately leaves).  Also, a vent to
prehistoric times opens over Dallas, emitting unbreathable pre-Cambrian
atmosphere.  The Otakuza Hyper Senshi Team Avatarangers defeats the demon
Mongols, who retreat to an island off the Japanese coast.  [ASH #79]
     EUROPA members Arc and Justice manage to trick the Nazis into returning
to their own time without excessive disruption of the timeline [ASH #80-81],
and the Dallas rift is sealed despite interference from time travelling
cyborgs from the year 2112 [ASH #81].


MAY

     Early in the month, the Santari ship ISN Fornax returns from an extended
repair and scouting trip into the Oort cloud and undertakes the audacious
mission of trying to cleanse Earth of all life before the Terrans can become
a threat to their race's future.  They are stopped by the combined efforts of
ASH and the CSV, but the crash of part of their ship in the Atlantic still
creates tsunamis that wreak havoc on cities already taxed by the Timequake.
[ASH #81-82]  The Santari crew mostly survives, and is rounded up on Venus
with some help from the guardian beast Infernion.  [ASH #83]
     On May 10, the second Lady Lawful arrives in Detroit as a result of a
time jump, but is sent back to the 1990s in order to avoid causing a time
paradox.  [The Reverse Engineers #1]
     Under cover of the chaos of the Timequake and ensuing Santari incursion,
the Impossible Five starts to break paranormal criminals out of imprisonment
and offer them "franchise" memberships.  [ASH #83]
     Late in the month, Solar Max and Jen Kleinvogel arrive in the Deltan
system after being hurled through time and space by the explosion of the
Hyperbomb.  [ASH #89]


JUNE

     On June 12, Derek Radner reveals that he has survived the events of
April 15, and that Castor, Pollux and Peryton are with him in the hidden city
of El Dorado.  [CSV Annual #2]  Solar Max and Jen Kleinvogel arrive in the
Sol System just in time to catch the news.  [ASH #87-88]
     On June 13, Devlin Marx is murdered, and the hunt begins to find his
killer.  [ASH #88-89]

     As of realtime date June 3, 2008, this is the status and time of
titles in the ASH Universe, listed alphabetically.  Any title not listed is
officially over (miniseries, or hiatus turned to cancellation):
