This deck was posted to the Highlander mailing list (highlander@monotreme.com) by Hank Driskill and is reposted here with his permission. He writes: "This is the newest variant on my old "kitchen sink" Connor deck (which has been around in some form or other since the first week SE was out)... in general, this deck does okay. Not great, but I like it anyway, just 'cause it's Connor, and it's not focussed on one thing. It's a scattered deck, no one strategy, but handles itself pretty well. Dunno how well this newest incarnation will do.
"It's weak on defenses. This is because of the Master's Stance/Master's Block trick... a nine-square Guard that you can attack through is a defense that tends to stay up awhile, so the other defenses eat up space in your hand. I should probably add a few Guards to the deck, but this is how it stands now.
"Master's Stratagem is for card throughput, the Collects are for free Power Blows, and the Safe Havens are just to put out if you have lots of Situations in your hand (gives you a breather to put 'em out, and to get Stance & Block in your hand). Wargames and Gathering are for after most of the Situations are out."
