Keiran was born in 1970, in Newcastle, Australia. By 1973 his family had managed to crawl out of the steel and coal and moved to Sydney, for which we thank Elvis. Keiran then spent all of his childhood in Catholic schools, which probably explains why he is now agnostic (ie: an atheist without the courage of his convictions).
Then in 1989 came the University of Technology, Sydney, where Keiran has spent the last seven and a half years studying for a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering. His advice to anyone who wants to follow a similar course of study is simple - DON'T. Save your sanity.
In 1995 Keiran, a dedicated PC user, was reading a book about Mactinoshes and the Internet when he came across a section making reference to a thing called Superguy. His interest was piqued, he did a quick search, subscribed and his life has never been the same since.
