Description: The Invid Hive in Detroit is typical for such
structures. It's a dome-shaped, organic-looking structure next to a
General Motors factory, which produces spare parts for the Invids'
mecha. It is huge -- probably around half as high as the Empire State
Building. It contains living quarters, maintenence and staging areas,
labs, communications and weapons arrays, armories, you name it. It
also houses the Invid Brain, a construct that serves as a "network
hub" for the Invids' telepathic communication.
